About me
Shanard Linsey is a Common Good Atlanta (CGA) Alumnus and current Board Member. He studied Liberal Arts while incarcerated, and joined CGA’s Board upon his release. Additionally, Shanard sits on Georgia State University’s Advisory Board for incarcerated students, Atlanta Regional Collaborative for Health Improvement’s (ARCHI) Advisory Community to address health inequities, and Georgia Microenterprise Network’s (GMEN) RITES Project which creates opportunities for returning citizens to develop business enterprises. He is the program supervisor for Cure Violence and Offender Alumni Association, where he leads a team of violence interrupters in Atlanta’s Zone 1. Shanard believes in accessible education and development opportunities as a pathway to building stronger community members and leaders.
